Regular members are contractors (industrial, commercial, or heavy-highway) who employ at least one of the crafts for which the association holds the bargaining rights. All regular members of the association are entitled to vote in important decisions confronting the future of the Northwest Indiana construction industry. All regular members of NWICA are subject to certain restrictions and obligations under the association by-laws regarding labor contract negotiations and labor disputes.

AES is experienced in various types of geotechnical engineering evaluation that includes the design and analysis of shallow and deep foundations for different types of structures, including ports, railroad, bridges, retaining walls, buildings, high-rises, as well as design of pavement, trails, slope stability analysis, embankment monitoring, construction materials testing, supervision and monitoring of earthwork, ground monitoring, etc.

We have Professional Engineer (PE) on staff with over 25 years of experience in geotechnical and construction engineering, materials testing and inspection services for different types of projects including buildings, roads, highways, railyard, embankments and levees by US Army Corps of Engineers. We have project and staff engineers to assist in the day-to-day field operation, analysis and support.
Our Certified Field Technicians are signatory to IUOE Local 150 and ACI certified for both field and lab testing. Project experience includes materials testing and inspection of buildings, roads, subdivisions, highways, rail facilities, multi-modal facilities, utilities, etc.
